Who we are and who may use the service
Variant Draft is operated by Walleye Ventures LLC. Contact us at hello@maintenancetracker.app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and use the service for your own professional work.
What the service does
Variant Draft uses AI, including Anthropic’s Claude, to draft investment memos from your own thesis, inputs and documents. It is a drafting tool, not a source of research, recommendations or investment advice.
Your responsibilities
Review and verify every draft before using or distributing it. Drafts may contain errors or omissions, and you are responsible for the material you approve and use.
Only upload documents you have the right to use. Third-party research may be subject to licence terms that restrict sharing or processing. Do not upload material non-public information or anything your employer or the law prohibits you from sharing. You are responsible for complying with your firm’s policies and applicable securities laws.
Accounts
Email confirmation is required. Keep your login credentials secure. Each account is for one person; do not share access.
Plans and billing
The Free plan includes 3 memos per month using the Short-Form template. Pro costs $99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period, then your account reverts to Free. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
Fair-use limits apply: currently one memo generating at a time and up to 30 per hour. These limits may change to protect the service. Prices may change with advance notice by email.
Your content
You keep ownership of your inputs and generated memos. You grant Walleye Ventures LLC only the rights needed to process your content and operate the service. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer or scrape the service, resell access, circumvent plan limits, or use the service unlawfully.
Stopping use and suspension
You can stop using the service anytime. Stopping use does not cancel a paid subscription; cancel it through Settings → Manage billing. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
No warranties
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the service or its output is accurate, complete or fit for any purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Walleye Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for investment decisions or losses arising from the use of drafts. Our total liability for a claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before that claim.
Responsibility for misuse and uploaded content
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Walleye Ventures LLC against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service or content you upload, including content that infringes another party’s rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and the last updated date. We will notify you by email of material changes. Contact hello@maintenancetracker.app with questions.
